The Alhambra Catholic Invitational Tournament will be looking for its third General Chairman since the tournament was founded in 1961. Joe Carter, who succeeded long-time tournament director and founder Joe Divico upon his death in 2003, announced last week that he would step down as head of the annual tournament held on the campus of Frostburg State University since 1977. Carter, who is currently serving as President of Bishop Walsh School, has been the General Chairman of the ACIT for 20 years. Wamba Caravan 89 of the International Order of the Alhambra will take over until a new General Chairman can be named.
