Allegany County Sheriff’s Office Arrest for Wednesday

The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police – Barrack C have combined resources to target open and active warrants. As a result, the following individuals have been apprehended.

Wednesday, November 1, 2023, David Diarus Daughton, 24 of Cumberland, was served two Circuit Court Bench Warrants for Violation of Probation. In the first case, his original conviction from 2019 was for Conspiracy-Armed Robbery where he was sentenced to 20 years with 15 years suspended and Supervised Probation for 5 years. In the second case, his original conviction was for Conspiracy-Robbery where he was sentenced in 2019 to a jail term of 15 years, with 10 years suspended and 5 years of supervised probation. He is currently being held at the Allegany County Detention Center pending a bail review in Circuit Court.
