The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection is making preparations for the statewide Adopt-A-Highway Fall Cleanup on Saturday, September 27th.  Individuals, families, churches and community groups gather annually to pick up trash on state-maintained roads, back roads, or main routes. Local DOH garages provide supplies for the event. Last year, volunteers removed over 215,000 pounds of litter from roadways in the Mountain State.
