On June 9th, 2023 at approximately 1:00 am officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 200 block of Columbia Street for a reported disturbance. Upon officer’s arrival they discovered no active disturbance. Officers then located Jessica Jones, who had four active Arrest Warrants, and advised her she was under arrest. Officers placed her into handcuffs and began to escort her from the residence, when she began to pull away from the officers. Jones screamed, yelled, and continued to attempt to pull away from officers as they escorted her to a patrol vehicle. Jones was then remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center where she awaits her initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

Arrest: Jessica Alexis Jones, age 30, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Fail to Comply with Pre-Trial Release Conditions, Three Counts of Failure to Appear, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing and Hindering.
