As the BA.5 variant continues to spread through Maryland, many people may find themselves suffering from COVID-19 fatigue and not be paying attention to the warnings. When it comes to these latest coronavirus variants, doctors say it may be the easiest to transmit and can more easily get you sick. As people were starting to enjoy summer, BA.5, an omicron subvariant, is now the dominant strain in the United States, and it's making more people sick.
