Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Jaylon Ferguson has died. He was 26 years old. "We are profoundly saddened by the passing of Jaylon Ferguson," the Ravens said in a statement. "He was a kind, respectful young man with a big smile and infectious personality. We express our heartfelt condolences to Jaylon's family and friends as we mourn a life lost much too soon."

Baltimore Police said they responded to the 400 block of Ilchester Avenue on Tuesday just before 11:30 p.m. for a report of a questionable death.

The cause of death is under investigation.

Ferguson, known as Sack Daddy, was a third-round pick out of Louisiana Tech by the Ravens in 2019. He led the NCAA in sacks with 17.5 in 2018.

In three seasons with Baltimore, Ferguson had 67 combined tackles, 4.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries in 38 games.

Ferguson was a father to two daughters and a son, who are all under the age of 5.
