June 22nd, 2022 by WCBC Radio

WBAL reports students will no longer be required to submit SAT and ACT scores for admission to universities in Maryland. The University System of Maryland voted on the matter on June 17 for its 12 universities. The universities can still make their own policies when it comes to testing. Several Baltimore area schools are already test-optional including UMBC, Towson University, University of Baltimore and University of Maryland.
