On Thursday, July 23, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 100 Block of Baltimore Street for the report of a male causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers observed an intoxicated male, later identified as Christopher Freeman, acting in a disorderly manner in the street. Officers advised Freeman to stop creating a public disturbance and leave the area multiple times. Ultimately, Freeman was placed under arrest for continually creating a disturbance. While being held at police headquarters for processing, Freeman began destroying the processing room, causing damage to the area. He was then transported to the Allegany County Detention Center, where he awaits his initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

CHARGES: Intoxicated Disturbance, Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace, Failure to Obey, Malicious Destruction of Property.
