On Tuesday, January 24th, 2023, The Cumberland City Police arrested Samuel Stuart Resnick, 41, of Cumberland MD. Resnick was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on January 23rd. The warrant alleged Resnick failed to appear in District Court on a previous charge of driving on a suspended license. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was released on a $1,000 unsecured personal bond.

On Tuesday, January 24th, 2023, The Cumberland City Police served Keith Allen Roach II, 34, of Frostburg MD a criminal summons. The summons was issued in reference to an incident that occurred on January 12th at a business in the 600 block of Greene St. During that incident, it is alleged that Roach stole numerous tools from a victim that had the value in excess of $1,000. As a result of the investigation, an application for charges was filed and a criminal summons issued by the Allegany County District Court. Roach was served the summons and released, pending trial.

Charges: Theft $100 – $1500
On Tuesday, January 24th, 2023, The Cumberland City Police arrested Michael Thomas Harman, 45, of Cumberland MD. Harman was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on January 23rd. The warrant alleged Harman failed to appear in District Court on a previous charge of knowingly driving an uninsured vehicle. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was released on his own recognizance.
