Bills Introduced To Address Election Fraud

October 10th, 2025 by WCBC Radio

Maryland House Republicans have offered two pieces of legislation to avoid election fraud in the state. One bill would require photo identification in order to vote. A second bill would mandate that the Maryland Board of Elections certify that all voters are American citizens. Currently 36 states require or request voter identification at the polls. Delegate Bob Long of Baltimore County will introduce the proposed legislation in 2026.
