An overloaded wood stove igniting nearby combustibles is being blamed for a house fire in Bowman’s Addition Thursday afternoon. The Maryland State Fire Marshal says the blaze did $120,000 damage to the Tasha Conrad and Brian Stewart residence. Twenty firemen had the situation under control in 15 minutes.
