U.S. Senator Ben Cardin, a Maryland Democrat, is warning of the potential for a wide range of public policy setbacks if Judge Brett Kavanaugh is elevated to the U.S. Supreme Court, and he urging leaders in Maryland to reach out to allies in other states before the Senate votes on his nomination.
