The Allegheny Plateau Audubon Society and the Somerset County Conservancy are looking for volunteers for their annual Christmas Bird Count on Dec. 17, held in conjunction with the National Audubon Society’s annual event. Participants need to provide their own transportation and binoculars, and wear clothing suitable for spending the day outdoors. At the end of the day, the group will meet to compile the results and enjoy a meal together.
