On December 14th Officers from the Cumberland Police Department (CPD) conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Maryland Ave and William Street. The traffic stop was conducted due to a traffic violation. A CPD K9 was called to the scene which led to further investigation.
Courtney Marie Hall was found to be in possession of control dangerous substance. Courtney Marie Hall was written one Maryland Uniform Criminal Citation before being released from the scene.
Jessie Luke Vanmeter was found to be in possession of control dangerous substance. Jessie Luke Vanmeter was written one Maryland Uniform Criminal Citation before being released from the scene.

Charges: Possession of Control Dangerous Substance (suspected Fentanyl)
Arrest: Jessie Luke Vanmeter, age 38 from Romney WV
