City of Cumberland Mayor and City Council Proclaims April as Fair Housing Month

The City of Cumberland will proclaim April as Fair Housing Month at the Mayor and City Council meeting on April 4, 2023. This will celebrate the 55^th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act of 1968 and promotes equal housing opportunity.

The Cumberland Human Relations Commission would like to invite the public to the annual Fair Housing Event. Presentations will focus on housing discrimination prevention and accessibility education.

The event is a hybrid event at Allegany College of Maryland in the Continuing Education building on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 9:00AM to 1:00PM.
