December 6th, 2017 by WCBC Radio

On Tuesday, officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 100 block of Greene Street for a trespassing complaint. When the officers arrived at the apartment building they contacted TANYA RENEE CRITES & ANDREW SCOTT CRITES.

The officers then spoke with the property owner and learned that both Tanya and Andrew did not have permission from him to stay on his property. It was also determined that Andrew Crites had an outstanding arrest warrant from Mineral County, WV.  This warrant was logged as a detainer to be later served in West Virginia.

Tanya and Andrew were placed under arrest and transported to the station for charges and processing. Tanya was later released on a criminal citation pending trial in District Court.

Andrew was transported to the District Court Commissioner’s office for his initial appearance, as a result of the hearing he was held on $2000.00 on the local charge.  He is also pending extradition to West Virginia on the outstanding warrant.
