Saturday, just after 3:00 PM, the Cumberland Police responded to a residence in the 400 block of Race Street for a disturbance complaint.
Upon arrival police learned Abree Danicka Nicol Braithwaite had arrived at a residence of a person she is familiar with and tried to gain access to the residence. When the resident came to the door to see who was banging on the window and door she was met by Braithwaite who forced her way past the resident and into the house.
Police located Braithwaite at the residence and placed her under arrest. She was charged with 4th Degree Burglary and was taken to a District Court Commissioner where she was released on her personal recognizance pending trial in District Court.
