On 10/25/17 Officers with the Cumberland Police Dept responded to a residence located in the 600blk of Maryland Ave in reference to a domestic assault. Upon arrival Officer’s contacted the victim who had minor injuries that did not require medical attention. As a result officers placed a 16yoa juvenile male under arrest. The juvenile was charged with one count of second degree assault and released to a family member pending disposition with the Department of Juvenile Services.

 

Bench Warrant Served

 

On 10/25/17 Officers with the Cumberland Police Dept served a bench warrant on 21 year old Boston Butcher of Cumberland. The warrant stems from Butcher violating probation on an original charge of Assault. Butcher was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where he was held without bail pending his next court appearance.
