City Police Searching for Hit and Run Suspect With Two Warrants

February 1st, 2018 by WCBC Radio

On Wednesday, January 31st, 2018 the Cumberland City Police responded to the area of S. Mechanic Street for a vehicle accident.  When officers arrived, they spoke with a male who identified himself as Coleman Alan Jenkins who admitted to the officers that he was at fault for the rear end collision.  Jenkins also told officers that he had a Pennsylvania driver’s license but no such record could be found.  He was issued a citation for driving without a license and released at the scene.  After Jenkins had been released and upon additional investigation, it was determined by officers that Jenkins was actually AKA; Gary Neal Allen Moore from Bloomington, Maryland.  Gary Moore had 2 active arrest warrants from a driving revoked and a theft case back in 2016 and his driver’s license was still revoked.  This is why officers suspect that Moore provided them with a false identity.  Additional charges have been filed through District Court and anyone with information about Moore’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Cumberland City Police at (301) 777-1600.  Callers can remain anonymous.

Gary Neal Allen Moore, age; 35, Bloomington, Maryland.

Currently  has 3 active arrest warrants.
