On Sunday, September 3, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Brandon Snyder. The summons was issued in connection with an incident that occurred on August 18, 2017. On this date, it was reported that Snyder threw rocks at a residence. Charges were later filed against Snyder by a private citizen at the District Court of Allegany County. Snyder was released pending trial after being served.

CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED
On Sunday, September 3, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served two criminal summonses on Anthony Horn Jr. The summonses were issued in connection with an incident that occurred on August 31, 2017. On this date, police responded to the M&T Bank on Baltimore Street in reference to an assault complaint. Upon the officers’ arrival, it was reported that Horn had struck the victim in the face. The victim was referred to District Court for charging purposes. Charges were later filed against Horn by private citizens at the District Court of Allegany County. Horn was released pending trial after being served.

CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED
On Sunday, September 3, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served two criminal summonses on Brady Twigg. The summonses were issued in connection with two separate incidents. On August, 12, 2017 and August 18, 2017, officers observed Twigg operating a vehicle on N. Mechanic Street. Officers confirmed that Twigg did not have a valid driver’s license. Officers were unable to conduct a traffic stop without causing traffic issues and elected to file charges against Twigg at the District Court of Allegany County. Twigg was released pending trial after being served.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY ARRESTS
On Sunday, September 3, 2017 at approximately 5:30 PM, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Decatur Street residence in reference to a large disturbance and possible gun shots. It was reported that the suspects left in two different vehicles. Upon the officers’ arrival to the area, they located one of the suspect vehicles traveling on Glenn Street. The vehicle was stopped and the occupants were detained for questioning. Witnesses were contacted and advised that multiple suspects had been damaging a vehicle parked along the street. They also reported that they heard what they believed to be gun shots. The two subjects that had been detained were positively identified by a witness as the suspects involved in the destruction of the vehicle. The suspects, Justin Broadus and Jasmine Brunson, were arrested and transported to the police station. Broadus and Brunson were taken before the District Court Commissioner for their initial hearing. They were each held at the Allegany County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
