June 21st, 2018 by WCBC Radio

Six Republican candidates for Allegany County Commissioner spent two hours answering questions Wednesday evening at Allegany College of Maryland.  The forum was sponsored by WCBC Radio and the first question concerned whether or not the county had adequately funded public schools.  Incumbent Commissioner Creade Brodie said he plans on no changes in funding schools.

Challenger David Caporale said more funding could be necessary.

Incumbent Bill Valentine says the county has funded the school system adequately.

Challenger Stu Czapski said that workforce training relies on strong education.

Incumbent Jake Shade says schools systems will always argue that more funding is needed.

Challenger David Robison (long o) believes more funding could be allotted for schools.
