Commissioners Approve More Emergency Procurements

At their most recent meeting, the Allegany County Commissioners were again faced with a list of projects for the flood-damaged areas of the county. The commissioners have stated that if no financial help cannot be found from the state of Maryland, they would have to go to the bond market for loans. Adam Patterson, Director of Public works for the county, presented the latest list of emergency projects needing approvals…

  

“Gentlemen, Ratification number 11 – 15 projects totaling $713,000, bringing us to a total of roughly $5.8 million. How much was that again? $5.8 million. It’s going to increase. We have jobs that have been completed but not yet invoiced.”
