West Virginia State Treasurer Larry Pack has been across the state giving unclaimed property back to counties and was in Keyser recently to present checks to several county groups.  Over $10,000 was given to the Fort Ashby Volunteer Fire Company from dated checks not cashed. The Mineral County Sheriff received $9,000 from an online firearms auction and the county board of education received funds for $7,000 from refunds and other revenues.
