Commissioners Donate 3K to Hooley Plunge in Tribute to Dr. McCagh

In tribute to the memory of Sean McCagh, the Allegany County Commissioners on Thursday voted to donate $3,000 to the Hooley Plunge. McCagh, a Cumberland dermatologist who founded the charity event, died last month from complications related to COVID-19. He was 60. The Hooley Plunge, which features hundreds of people dunking themselves in Lake Habeeb at Rocky Gap State Park, funds programs ranging from Special Olympics to some offerings that support special needs students in county public schools.
