Testimony was heard by the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday in Annapolis on a crime bill submitted by Democratic Delegate Elizabeth Embry. House Bill 0301 would remove the opportunity for individuals convicted of rape to earn “good time” credits that would reduce their prison sentence.
