It took a few years, but fencing began going up this past week along the Clarysville Bridge. Hoping to reduce incidents of suicide at the bridge that crosses Vale Summit Road- Delegate Mike McKay introduced legislation last year seeking action in the General Assembly to address the escalating number of suicides, and attempted suicides, by installing fencing at the bridge on Interstate 68 between LaVale and Frostburg.
