Allegany Public Schools have new central office appointments for the 2025-26 academic year. Katherine Loughrie will serve as the county’s Chief Academic Officer. She has been in the school system for 21 years as a teacher, vice principal and supervisor. Dr. Wendy Main is the new Director of Special Education and Student Services. Main has been with the county for 30 years working in the area of Special Education. Dr. Kendra Kenney moves from Principal of Washington Middle School to Director of Special Education for the county where she has worked for 29 years.
