CPD Makes Violation Of Protective Order Arrest & Serves Arrest Warrants

On Sunday, July 22nd, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department arrested Robert Eric Davis for violating a protective order that was issued by District Court back on January 24th, 2018 which ordered him not to have any contact with his spouse.  He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was released on his own personal recognizance pending trial.

Arrest Warrant Served

 

On Sunday, July 22nd, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on a 17 year old juvenile male charging him with attempted 1st degree murder, attempted 2nd degree murder, assault 1st degree, handgun on person, assault 2nd degree, and use of a firearm in a violent crime, He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.  The warrant was issued by District Court after the juvenile male allegedly shot another male in the area of Altamont Terrance and Baltimore Street back on June 3rd, 2018. 

 

Arrest Warrant Served

 

On Sunday, July 22nd, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Curtis Lester Hamilton Jr. charging him with 2nd degree assault.  Hamilton was taken before the District Court Commissioner and he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.
