On Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, The Cumberland City Police arrested Brandon Marshal Ridgeley, 45, and Christopher Michael Emerson, 34, both of Cumberland MD. Both were served a Criminal Summons in reference to an incident that occurred on November 29th, at a residence in the 400 block of Arch St. During that incident, it is alleged that both Ridgeley and Emerson had broken into a vacant apartment building and used it as a temporary residence. It was also alleged that several hundred dollars’ worth of damage was caused to the property. Both subjects were served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.
