The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad has received “tremendous support” with the return of Railfest, according to Executive Director Wes Heinz.  Heinz told WCBC one of its supporters includes CSX, who assisted the event’s comeback monetarily…

“They gave us a community grant that’s kind of underpinning some of the administrative side of what we had to accomplish to pull off this year’s Railfest, and we’re very grateful for their participation in that regard.”
