WCBC News has learned that CSX has contacted Cumberland City officials and would like to meet concerning the issues regarding the bridges over the railroad in the next few weeks. Last week, residents of the Washington Street area noticed workers taking a look at that span. City Administrator Jeff Rhodes told us he received the same reports that we did, but did not have any idea what the activity was about.
