Residents have probably seen some work going on at the Cumberland Gateway project along Park Street, but the City of Cumberland would like to see much more activity taking place. Kline-Scott-Visco, the developer for the project, hasn’t done much in the way of finishing the building on the site or attracting businesses to it. In the next two weeks, the City expects to have meetings with the developer to determine the future of the business relationship. Mayor Ray Morriss says the developer stands to lose money…
However, the City also may have to invest money in the project if the developer walks away…
