On February 19, 2019, a Cumberland Police Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Front Street and Park Street for failing to stop at a stop sign. The Officer made contact with the operator of the vehicle who was identified as 35 year old Grant Robert Lee of Cumberland MD. Upon further investigation, it was learned that Lee had an active arrest warrant for Violation of Probation for an initial charge of theft. Lee was transported to the District Court Commissioner for his initial appearance and held at the Allegany County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
