The Cumberland Mayor and City Council will hold a work session Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 PM. Highlighting the agenda will be a discussion of how the city should use millions of dollars in funding awarded through the American Rescue Plan Act, and then coming up with a list of what projects should be at the top of the list.
City Council is expected to extend the agreement with UFCW Local 1994 for an additional year when they meet in regular session Tuesday evening. The extension will address wage enhancements with members of the Cumberland Police Department. The agreement was reached in July of 2021.
