Cumberland Police Department serve criminal summons

On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Timothy Hewlin Sr.  The summons was issued in connection with a fraud investigation that began on July 28, 2022.  On this date, it was reported that Timothy Hewlin stole banking information and fraudulently withdrew money from the victim’s bank account.  After further investigation, police filed for charges against Hewlin at the District Court of Allegany County.  He was released pending trial after being served.

ARRESTED:  Timothy Ray Hewlin Sr.    AGE: 40      Cumberland, MD

CHARGES:  Theft: $100 to under $1500 (x2), Theft Scheme: $100 to under $1500, Fraud ID Info Theft $100 to under $1500 (x2)

 

On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Calvin Kiniseley.  The summons was issued as a result of a private citizen filing for charges against Kniseley at the District Court of Allegany County.  Kniseley was released pending trial after being served.

ARRESTED:  Calvin Jacob Kniseley           AGE: 27          Cumberland, MD

CHARGES:  Disorderly House, Disturbing the Peace-Loud Noise
