On November 7th, 2022 at approximately 7:38 pm, a Cumberland Police officers responded to Moran Avenue for an assault. Upon arrival an officer contacted the victim who advised that Melissa A. Seib had thrown a fixed blade knife at them and they were struck by the handle. Officers had previously been at the residence on two other occasions and warned Seib about her disorderly behavior. Seib failed to obey officer’s prior orders to stop creating disturbances and was subsequently placed under arrest. She was transported to central booking where she is currently awaiting an appearance before a District Court commissioner.

CHARGES: Assault 2nd degree, Reckless endangerment, Intoxicated endangerment, Failure to obey, and Disorderly conduct.
