On Tuesday, October 24, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Muslim Brunson. The warrant was issued as a result of Brunson failing to follow the conditions of his probation. Brunson was arrested and taken before the District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. He was held at the Allegany County Detention Center without bail.
A criminal summons was also served on Brunson. The summons was issued in connection with an incident that occurred on October 23, 2017. On this date at approx. 9:15 AM, police responded to a business on Queen City drive for a theft complaint. An officer contacted a citizen who reported that a cell phone had been stolen. After investigation and reviewing surveillance video, it was determined that Brunson stole the cell phone. Charges were filed by the Cumberland Police Department.

CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED
On Tuesday, October 24, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Victoria Durbin. Charges were filed by a private citizen at the District Court of Allegany County. It was alleged that Durbin stole a cell phone. Durbin was released after being served.

ASSAULT ARREST
On Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at approximately 10:30 AM, the Cumberland Police Department responded to an Oak Street residence for an assault. Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim who reported that he was assaulted by Brittany Wickard. The victim advised that Wickard punched him in the face. The victim had sustained injuries. Wickard reported that she hit the victim to stop him from getting her phone. Wickard was arrested and transported to the police station for processing. She was taken before the District Court Commissioner where she was released on her personal recognizance pending trial.
