DelFest business agent Stan Strickland will be a guest on WCBC's "Dave Norman Show" Wednesday to discuss the latest contract talks with Allegany County. The two sides have been talking since late last year in hopes of coming to terms on a new five year contract, however there have been a number of stumbling blocks, most notably the issue of creating the position of DelFest liason. The hope is that the county commissioners can vote to approve a new deal as early as Thursday's regular county meeting. 

A meeting hosted by WCBC to bring the parties together is still planned for Friday, November 3rd at 10am at the Allegany College of Maryland Continuing Education building.
