Despite Hogan’s Approval Rating, Poll Shows High Marks for Jealous

Mixed messages coming from a new statewide poll in Maryland as it shows Governor Larry Hogan's approval rate high, but at the same time there is also strong support for his opponent’s ideas. WBAL reports the new Goucher Poll of 831 adults finds 64 percent approve or strongly approve of the job Governor Larry Hogan is doing. But while Hogan continues to enjoy personal popularity, it’s the more liberal policies proposed by his Democratic opponent, former NAACP President Ben Jealous, that are getting high marks. Maleah Kromer, director of the Goucher Poll, said the ideas of legalized marijuana, increasing the minimum wage and Medicare for all are popular concepts among those polled…
