Dr. Danny Twilley, with WVU, was the featured speaker at this month’s meeting of The Greater Cumberland Committee, with a focus on outdoor recreation and it’s connection to building a stronger economy. In his role, Twilley focuses on growing the state’s outdoor economy to make West Virginia and Maryland more desirable places to live, work and play by leveraging the state’s expansive outdoor recreation assets. Twilley and his team, lead initiatives that focus on talent attraction and retention, outdoor community development, outdoor recreation asset development, business development and workforce development.
