The Cumberland Police Department is currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash on East Industrial Boulevard. East Industrial Boulevard is currently shut down starting at Virginia Avenue and ending at South Street including side streets leading to East Industrial Boulevard. The roadway will be closed for an extended period of time and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
Alternative routes to avoid the crash scene would include I-68 East Bound to Willowbrook Road to Messick Road. In City Travel would include East Bound Industrial Boulevard to Lamont Street to Oldtown Road.
