The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a Fire Weather Watch for the potential of enhanced fire spread, which is in effect from Monday morning through Monday evening.
* HUMIDITY…Around 20 percent.
* WINDS…Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* FUEL MOISTURE…Decreasing to below 10 percent.
* IMPACTS…The combination of lowering fuel moisture, low relative humidity and gusty winds may contribute to the enhanced spread of fires.
