March 11th, 2018 by WCBC Radio

On Saturday at approximately 1:43 a.m., a Frostburg City Police officer on patrol observed a disturbance involving several persons at an East Main Street business. Upon investigating, the officer found Brandon Thomas Beck, 20, of Frederick, to be hostile and using profanity at the scene, and he appeared to have been instigating a confrontation with several other individuals. The officer ordered Beck to leave the area and not return, in order to prevent any further disturbance. Beck left at this time.
A few minutes later, however, the officer observed that Beck had returned to the business, that he was again being disruptive, in that he pushed his way to the front of a line of customers, and store employees asked that he be removed.
The officer contacted Beck and placed him under arrest. Upon contacting him, Beck informed the officer that he possessed a set of metal knuckles. The metal knuckles were seized and Beck was arrested at the scene.
Beck was charged with failure to obey a lawful order of a police officer and carrying a concealed dangerous weapon. Beck was also found to have been consuming alcohol and was charged by civil citation with underage possession of alcohol. Beck was taken before a District Court Commissioner and held on $5,000 bond pending trial.
