A ribbon cutting for Phase 2 of the Frostburg Edible Arboretum is set for October 10 at Glendening Park. The edible arboretum is a demonstration garden showcasing edible plants native to the region. The ceremony is scheduled for 2:30pm and will include guided tours of new plantings of trees, bushes, fruit trees and pollinator plants. Funding for the project came through Sustainable Maryland.
