The Cumberland Times News reports phones at the central office of Garrett County Public Schools and at all schools are not working properly. The schools and offices are not able to receive calls. When the phone calls are answered, nothing can be heard. The school system is working with Verizon to correct the problem. If there is an immediate message that needs to be conveyed to a particular school, email the Public Information Office at public.info@garrettcountyschools . The Public Information Office will then relay the message to the school.
