A Friendsville woman was arrested by Garrett County Sheriff's Deputies during a traffic stop on I-68 Tuesdya night. At approximately 10:00 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on eastbound I-68. The driver identified as Carrie Lee McCombie, 41, was arrested after the K-9 Unit returned a positive alert for controlled dangerous substance in the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine, as well as Alprazolam with a street vlaue of $800, and paraphernalia.
A check of McCombie's driver's license confirmed that her license was revoked as well.
McCombie was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center for a bond hearing.
