Three Arrested After Traffic Stop Leads to CDS Discovery

On Tuesday morning, three people were arrested by the Garrett County Sheriff's Office of Narcotics Division during a traffic stop near Oakland. Narcotics division deputies stopped a vehicle for traffic violations of Paul Friend Road at approximately 10:30 a.m. The K-9 Unit responded and returned a positive alert for controlled dangerous substances. A serach of the vehicle led to the recovery of heroin, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. 

The driver, Ralph Thomas Lloyd, 42 of Kitzmiller, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license. 

A passener identified as Taylor Renea Perry, 26 of Oakland, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. 

A passenger identified as Jehu Michael Fultz Jr., 31 of Friendsville, was found as having an outstanding arrest warrant in Preson County for serious traffic offenses. 

The three were arrested and transported to the Garrett County Detention Center.Perry was held on $1000 bond, Lloyd was released on personal recognizance, and Fultz is currently being held on a fugitive warrant.
