Gov. Hogan Declares State Of Emergency After High Winds Cause Damage, Power Outages

Gov. Larry Hogan has issued a state of emergency Friday for Maryland in the wake of winter storm Riley. Hogan signed an executive order that will allow the state to efficiently coordinate support and provide additional assistance to local jurisdictions amid damaging winds resulting in power outages, downed trees, and dangerous travel conditions across the state.
