Governor Patrick Morrisey announced on Wednesday that West Virginia has signed agreements with ICE – Immigration and Customs Enforcement , West Virginia State Police, and the Department of Corrections to assist in rounding up illegal aliens, giving them specific immigrations enforcement functions.  Morrisey said the effort would make state residents safer in their communities….

   

“This gives them the ability to interrogate any alien or person believed to be an alien as to his right to remain in the United States.  To process for violations those individuals who have been arrested for state and federal criminal offenses.”
