On January 4th, 2024, The Cumberland Police responded to a business in the 200 block of Greene St for the report of a theft. Upon arrival on scene, Officers contacted an employee who advised a male subject was actively stealing items from the store. The officers then contacted the male subject and found that he had concealed numerous food items on his person. As a result, Matthew Schafer Zink, 40, was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters. He was issued a criminal citation for theft and released, pending trial in District Court.

Charges: Theft less than $100.
